My Day At Bunna Cafe

Brunch The Right Way...

Written by: Bella Date: July 23, 2016

Dear Brownie,

Preambles...

I was invited over for brunch by the manager of Bunna Cafe and as usual, I couldn't say yes fast enough! (I think my already long throat is growing!) So on an impromtu day, I gave them a call to tell them I was on my way. I intended to make it a working brunch so I packed my laptop and some books and went on my merry way!

Let's Get Into The Review...

The Ambience...

I must say that I'm a sucker for wide spaces and large windows! Bunna cafe has both! And for a place smack dab in the middle of silverbird, It felt somehow separate from all the hussle and bussle of the building. It was colourful and very well lit and so very pretty.

The Staff...

Now, the staff...it all started out pretty bumpy. When I first walked in, there was nobody to seat me, they all seemed so preoccupied, evither with work or the game that was showing on the TV but once I called attention to myself, they were alert and extra friendly. Nice save, guys!

The Service…

The food didn't take that long to bring. I ordered different random things off the menu so I could taste how different parts of the menu fared but of course, it was brunch so I didn't get anything heavy. All my goodies came on time!

The Presentation…

The presentation was clean and quite organised. The snacks were served on white which I liked and the chapman looked extra exotic, lol

The Taste…

My favourite part of any review! So I had a chocolate muffin, a croissant, some coffee and a chapman among other things and I have to admit that the food was consistently good. When I enter a cafe, I often worry about whether or not one thing will have all the attention and the other will just taste like paper but I was surprisingly impressed!

The Portions…

The coffee and the chapman were pretty good portion wise and so were the snacks. Did I want more? Yes! But that's because of my throat, lol.

The Price…

The pricing was really good, perfect for my demographic. You can go in there and get the perfect brunch experience without breaking the bank!

Now, for the all important Brownie Points…

As usual, when I review something, I give each aspect brownie points ranging between 1 and 5, depending on how well they fared:

Ambience: 4/5
Staff: 3/5 (I like attention, guys!)
Service: 5/5
Presentation: 5/5
Taste: 4/5

Portions:5/5

Price:5/5

I loved my brunch at Bunna Cafe and because of how sweet they were, I knew I had to review on them! They also sent me on my merry way with one of their yummy milkshakes! You have to try one even if you don't try anything else!

So the next time you're at silverbird waiting for your movie, walk into Bunna Cafe and have a cocktail maybe?? They are open from 10am to 9pm every day!

Quick Question...

How would you feel about a meet and greet at Bunna Cafe?

Be Better Brownie!

Bella

xx
