My Idea Of Work Wear
I've finally figured out my style niche thanks to my new friend James. He's a super photographer and blogger for his site (Click Here) and his work is *mad mad mad mad* Check him out and say hi! He's probably interviewed alot of your favs!
Now, every once in a while, I am REQUIRED to dress work appropriate, either for an event, an interview, you name it and every single time, because of my actual dress sense, I hit brick walls OFTEN. How do I take my happy afro bohemian style and wrap it into 'work appropriate'? Today, I found my zen. I attended one of my mum's foundation events (it was spelling bee, I love spelling, lol) and as usual, I found myself struggling between dressing like myself and like an old woman with a desk job *no offense* but I think I did pretty well for myself! What do you think?
This is my favourite part of the outfit, my yellow textured body suit frm Primark. I love the neck line and the fit!
Next up, staying true to office wear with my black ribbed pencil skirt form Boo Hoo
I dusted off my patent bag from Kate Spade to add more texture to my outfit
I didn't really hate the heeled sandals from Steve Madden, the gold and the bow were cute!
Topped off my look with the signature piece, this white mesh jacket with pockets from Tahari
How do you incorporate your style into your work style?
