' Tis The Year Of Ankara'

Dear Brownie,

When you’ve been friends as long as Aniekeme and I have, you tend to unknowingly vibe off each other, I guess it comes from being friends for 15 years! I dont really know anyone else who gets my style the way she does!, I think that’s how it’s always been. If you don’t know who Aniekeme is…where have you been??? Run over to !

Today, we’re coming to you with another collaboration! Yes, we’ve collaborated before! I’m still in the process of retrieving all my old blog posts but check out her version of our collaboration HERE. We chose to make ankara the focal point and as usual, our interpretations have some similarities but integral differences at the same time! Of course, I was in charge of the location and you guys know how I love barren waste lands with just a pinch of life attached!!

Outfit Details…

For my outfit, I decided to channel my inner tom boy if she was forced to wear a skirt (let’s call her Chelle, short for Michelle, lol) I’ve always loved bowties and for sure I couldn’t heels with my ‘reformed tomboy’ look so I went for my jellies! They remain one of my favourite purchases till date.

I loved my frumpy white shirt because I feel like it gave me more body, and gave the illusion of my having a rocking bod underneath!
