Don't miss out on exciting updates
New year, new hair! I've never been the type to make a point to create a huge New year's post BUT this year, I'm actually thinking of making THAT post. Here’s the twist, I'm turning 25 in March so that's when I'll talk about MY New year. Till then, I'm so happy you're alive to see another year! Congrats!
Today, I tried out some new products! This has to be my favorite thing to do when I have my natural hair out and what's more special than trying out a new brand on my new-ly washed hair? Lol, see what I did there?
My aim this year is to work with more small businesses than ever before and give them a chance to shine as well!
Now, I haven’t tried ALL the items I was sent so I won’t be reviewing them all but look for an update soon!
What is Hairs to You?
First off, I love the pun in the brand name. Hairs to you is an organically handmade hair care brand tucked neatly in the heart of Abuja. Their products are perfect for ALL hair types. Yes, you heard me ALL, not just natural hair. From their mission statement and goals, you can get a sharper idea of what ithey stand for:
‘ Our primary mission is to provide the highest level of quality products thereby establishing a long lasting relationship of trust and commitment.
Our goal is to give superior customer service consistently with happy relentless attitude while standing within affordable budgets for our clients…’
Now, the utmost test is whether or not these goals were achieved with us, right?
Remember the ‘Brownie Points’ system?
I was sent four full sized products to try out: A shampoo (BioAloe vera shampoo), a sealant (Hair Yum), an oil (Elixir- Hair Growth oil) and a leave in conditioner (All tangled up leave in). I couldn’t try out the shampoo because I had literally just finished washing my hair when the package arrived! [No joke, I just washed out my deep conditioner when there was a knock on the door] Let's break it down, shall we?
Packaging: The products arrived in a cute little basket! As soon as I saw it, I thought ‘This would be a really cute shower basket’ . It came with lots of little notes on how to care for you hair, adorable natural hair catch phrases and YES a cute natural hair button for me to wear. It was wrapped in a cute little bow. The items all have nice labels, amazingly done. 4/5
Quality: Honestly, I loved the product quality. Everything was so well mixed, the consistency was sensational.
I can speak for both the hair yum and the ‘All tangled up’ leave in when I say that my hair remained moisturized until I braided it again! And everything smelled divine! I’ll keep you posted on the other products! 4/5 for now
Price: Its pretty premium. The items ranged from 1000 to 3000 which is amazingly priced for natural hair products in Nigeria. 5/5
Customer Service: The brand was swift to respond to nay questions I could have had and were polite and professional. 5/5
Delivery: Delivery was swift and stress free, just the way we like it 5/5
Overall: I’ve always loved the idea of feeling like something was made specially for me. These products are hand mixed and organic made to order. Oh, my hair is dancing! I would definitely order!Your mission and goals seem to be in order! There is also alot of reseacrch put into each item for sure 4.5/5
