A Collaboration With Sarah Audu And Esther
Love comes in different shapes and sizes. And it comes to different people in different forms. This valentine’s day, my focus is on showing the people around me the love that I have for them. I’ve never really celebrated a ‘romantic’ valentine’s day but this year, I’m having a Galentine Dinner with some of my favorite girls. I love valentines day! Single or taken, the spirit follows me around and has me thinking ‘what better day can there be than a day you should INTENTIONALLY show love. My blogger babes and I decided to dress up in our valentine frocks and share with you our plans for this year!

My Valentine Story
I talk about this more in a video HERE but I’ve always loved valentines day, even though I’ve never had a ‘real’ one according to my expectations. I’ve never gotten the flowers, the chocolates, the extra doses of love, even when I was in relationships. This year however, I decided to take my love day into my own hands. This year, I’m taking charge of the LOVE. I decided to orchestrate the kind of love I feel like I deserve but for others. MY goal for this love day is to show those I love how much they mean to me, because at the end of the day, Valentine’s day is about more than you. Its an US day. It doesn’t have to be partner love only, it can be any kind of love! Just cerebrate God giving us LOVE.
I went down the cliche route: SEXY.OBVIOUS.RED.
It’s the easiest and most predictable route so I decided to add some personal touches to it! Instead of a plain dress for example, I opted for an Ankara dress, instead of plain black heels, I upped the ante with these knee highs. And of course pearls to be classy!
What are you doing for Valentine's day?
Be Better, Brownie!
