The Secret Garden

My Day At Central Park

Written by: Bella Date: October 31, 2018

Dear  Brownie,

Have you ever been somewhere and thought ‘I must be in some kind of fairytale” ?  That's how I felt the first time I stepped foot in central park. This wasn't my first time anymore. Now I had the general lay of the land  but the place still managed to take my breath away.

Central Park is a stunning outdoor multi-activity zone full of activity with so much more to come, I don’t even know how to effectively review it! Let my take you on a virtual tour:

What’s there…

When you enter the gate, you park and go up a stunning bridge (that happens to go right over the go-carting road) At the end of the bridge, you see the variety of signs pointing you to a juice bar (coming soon), a water park (coming soon as well), a paint balling area (which I’ve used before and loved destroying my enemies in, lol) and of course the go-carting area. But that’s not all! Amidst the main attractions, there are BEAUTIFUL picnic and date night areas, with rolling hills, a gorgeous fountain, places for photo ops and of course, the soon to e famous LOVE garden.

After we went through all the green, we snuck to a new different corner of the park that happened to be right next to the go-carting area. A cute little restaurant called ‘Tapas on the green’ where I had a pizza and a milkshake. The milkshake hit soooo many spots and they had games to keep us busy while we waited on our meal.

Right next to the restaurant was another outdoor seating area with a giant backyard sized chess board and Jenga set. There’s no way you’ll come here and not find something that tickles your fancy. It almost feels like they thought of just about everything.

What Stood out…

As a picture fiend, my favorite part of the park wasn’t the activities nestled inside and much as it was the park itself! With all the fresh green grass and inserts of wood and color, it was hard not to stop at every location to take a picture.

I also thought it was interesting how there was a variety of ‘secret garden areas’ within the park, perfect for a cozy picnic with friends, a date and yes, even an engagement surprise!

Final Thoughts…

Central Park provides a complete experience that you can't get anywhere else in Abuja.

If you’re a person of the outdoors, this place is perfect for you. It’s also amazing for kids! I can see myself being busy there for hours!

And if you’re not that person and you’re just looking for a photo op, this is the place for you as well! I’d recommend going at 4/5 when its golden hour! Thank me later!!!

But wait, there’s more…

The team at Central Park was kind enough to give me a discount code for 10% off for you, my darling Brownies but it only lasts for this week. Use the coupon at the end of my post! I think you should take a look at the place, go on an adventure and let me know what you think!

Quick Question…

Have you ever visited Central Park before? What for? Why not?

Be Better Brownie!

Thank you so much darling! The only downside is that they don't let you take pictures with your camera
